Not ME MONDAY

http://www.mycharmingkids.net/">

So, I truly enjoy reading the NOT ME post on others blogs. So, I thought that I would give it a try.

I definately did not give a tootsie roll pop to each of my boys while shopping this weekend so that they would be so distracted and have their mouths full that they couldn't ask for anything! NOPE NOT ME!

I also did not pretend to still be asleep this morning when the puppy needed to go out, so that my husband would have to get up with her. NOPE NOT ME!

When my darling 4 year old asked if he could make a tent in the living room, I definately did not tell him it would be WAY MORE COOL to make a SECRET HIDEOUT in his bedroom so the bad guys wouldn't find him! NOPE NOT ME!!

My 8 year old has a very bad habit of not wanting to eat supper when the rest of the family eats, but would rather eat it right before bed. SO, I definately did not BRIBE him with a piece of Apple Pie, if he would sit at the table and eat with everyone else. NOPE NOT ME!!

I also did not pretend to have a backache so that my 11 year old would feel so sorry for that she swept the kitchen floor, and mopped it! NOPE NOT ME!!

I am sure that there will be many more NOT ME happenings this week! I hope to keep you posted!!

Karter's Hospital Visit!

On Tuesday, January 5, everyone was getting ready to head out the door for another day of school. Brian was helping Karter zip his coat up and the next thing we knew, Karter had completely passed out! He was out for about 15 - 20 seconds. When he came too, he was not with it at all. I ran Kailee and Kolin to school, quickly ran into my school and wrote lesson plans, and met Brian at our regular doctor's office. I had called ahead, so they were ready for us. After about a 20 minute examination, and Karter was still not himself, our Dr. sent us to the Emergency Room. We spent the entire day in the ER. They ran and EKG, and did a CT scan. Then they referred us to Children's Hospital in the Seizure Clinic. That is what they think Karter had, a seizure. Not sure why, so we have more test in our future. Next Tuesday he will be admitted into Children's hospital for a EEG and an MRI. Hopefully all the test come back as just a fluke. That is what we are all praying for.

Happy New Year, 2010 Hear we come!!

Happy Birthday Kailee!!
Kailee turned 11 in December and for her birthday we just had family over. She really enjoyed the cake I made her. She is really into the Twilight Series, and wanted a Smiley Face with Fangs. I think it turned out pretty good, if I do say so myself!!

The kids got an unexpected visit from Santa 3 days before Christmas. He was checking up on them to make sure they were behaving! Which they weren't. Christmas is Kolin's favorite time of year. We actually have Christmas YEAR ROUND at our house. He is still watching "Snow Buddies".

Christmas was wonderful this year!! The kids all enjoyed opening their presents! I can still remember when Kolin wouldn't open any of his presents, and now he opens everybody's presents!! It is so much fun!!
For New Year's Eve we went to see Alvin and the Chipmunks the Squeakall. It was really cute! Then we spent the rest of the evening with some great friends! Kailee had her BFF spend the night, so she was happy!!
