Where did MARCH GO?

Karter had an Easter party at Karate last week! It was a Hawaiian Themed Party and the entire family was invited! Kolin thought it was a little loud, but Karter greatly enjoyed it! As you can see, Everyone had a great time! What a nice thing for the Karate Instructor to do! We had a lot of fun, and Kolin even finally joined in the fun! I did feel sorry for the later next to us, because once Kolin decided it would be fun to beat the bucket with drum sticks, he became a WILD DRUMMER!!! Reminded me of a ROCK STAR!! GO KOLIN!

Spring Break, Where did you go?

So, yesterday was our Spring Break! yep, that is right, only one day for spring break! But I must admit, it was gorgous outside.

Kailee had a friend spend the night, and since I am down to driving my husbands old, brown truck, affectionately called "the honeywagon", I left the girls at home while I tried to run some errands around town. First stop, the BANK! Karter thinks that you can just go in the bank and take money out. He doesn't understand that you actually have to have money in the bank to take it out! He also looks forward to the sucker that he usually gets. So, Kolin and Karter and I ventured into the bank! So, far, not too bad!

Next stop, A different BANK! This time, thru the DRIVE THRU! Did I mention that Kolin really does not like enclosed spaces like DRIVE THRU LANES? So, needless to say it was a quick trip to the Bank.

Then it was off to the Dr. Office. Both boys have a terrible cough, green junk coming out of their noses and Kolin was complaining of his ear hurting. Both boys have Sinus Infections! YEAH!

Quick stop at McDonald's for Happy Meals, and I did ask for the iCarly toys, but the boys got Star Wars instead and were very unhappy!

Final destination, County Revue Collector. Found a place to park, thank heaven! All three of us needed to use the restroom, quick stop. Then on to pay the dreaded TAXES! Which I don't understand WHY I am paying taxes on something that has been owned by my family for atleast a Century! No joke, 15 people in line ahead of me! I thought, I could have the boys sit and wait, but they only had one person working, HONESTLY 1 PERSON, what is wrong with you people! After about 5 minutes of Karter asking "how much longer" and Kolin swatting at people, I decided that my taxes would have to wait for another day! We quickly hurried out of there! Only to find that some "wonderful" person had parked so close to the bumper of the "honeywagon" that I really had a difficult time getting out of the parking spot!

Finally, we made it home, all in one piece! Then I learn that my TRUCK still is not finished, the girls ate all the ice cream and the house looked like it threw up! NO JOKING! So, what does any mom do, tells Karter it is time for a NAP, because MOM, really needs one! After about an hour of restless napping, Karter and I head downstairs to see what the girls are doing and Kolin and find that they have used the banisters on the stairwell as a TENT!

So, I cleaned up the mess up, started supper ! Then took Kailee to dance, came back home, and then went back and picked Kailee up from DANCE!

AND THAT WAS MY WONDERFUL SPRING BREAK!!!

Exhausted Weekend!!

This past weekend, Kailee had her first dance competition of the season. I am very proud of how well she did! The pictures are from her solo and she really enjoys dancing this dance.

It has been a very difficult past week. My beloved truck decided to start making a terrible noise, and so I took it to the shop and got horrible news. I need a new engine. My truck is kind of old, but it just what my family needs, so the great debate was on about whether get a new engine or find a different vehicle that we could pay cash for. The debate is still going on, so who knows what will happen, but I can tell you, I MISS MY TRUCK!!

Karter is going in next week for some more tests. I am hoping that they can figure what is going on with my baby. Keep him in your prayers.
