What a Wonderful Weekend!!!!

We had such a wonderful weekend!! Check out this video of Kolin. The first pics are of him on his horse Jamieson, riding at the Wine, Dine and Whinny. He did such a wonderful job! It was awesome!!
Kolin loves riding his horse! Then Brian and I went out to dinner for our anniversary, and boy are we getting old!! We got home around 10:45 pm and we were so tired!! It was crazy!

The weather was beautiful on Saturday! I don't think we could have asked for better weather!! It was fabulous!!

Then Sunday we took the kids to Chuck E. Cheese for NO GOOD REASON! Just so they could play and have fun! It was a great time! Everyone enjoyed the playing, but I don't think the kids took time to eat!! Check out the pics:

So as you can see, a good time was had by all and Karter ended the day with learning how to WINK! It was so cute!! By the time we got home, everyone was hungry again, so we had to fire up the grill and grill some burgers and dogs! They were yummy! and Kolin must have been really hungry, he ate 2 hot dogs and 1 burger! WOW, for such a little guy, he sure can eat! After we ate, Brian and I went for a walk! I generally like to go for a walk every morning or evening, trying to be healthy, and this time Brian wanted to go along! It was great! Then off to bed for some much needed R and R, and now we are back to Monday!!

TGIF

Well another week has flown by. I can not believe how fast this summer is going! WOW. We are so busy with ball and dance that I don't think we even feel like it is summer, although that not having kids that aren't yours all day is kinda nice! :) Monday, Kolin had another ball game. He really was not that into it..... here is his idea of playing t-ball...... playing in the dirt with his back to the field!! Not thinking that he is going to be our Ball player this year. He really enjoyed practices but the games, he is just not that into them. Here is another picture of him this time playing with rocks instead of playing ball. While I was with Kolin at ball, my dad took Kailee to dance and then I went to pick her up much later.

Then both Kailee and Kolin were supposed to have a game on Tuesday, only one was in our town and one was in a different town, about 15 miles away. I actually did pray for rain that day, and was happily rewarded when GOD answered my prayers. THANK YOU GOD! So, Kailee was able to go to her pointe class and she was thrilled!! (Probably not the ball player either, her heart will always be in dance!!)

Wednesday was fairly uneventful for the most part. Brian had called me outside to look at the clouds and I noticed that our dog, Levi, was not acting right. He is getting pretty old (he will be 11 in September) and I don't even want to think about him not being with us, so Brian and I decided that we would see how he was in the morning and maybe take him to the vet. Thursday morning came and he was not any better. Brian called me and said that he hardly could even move and that he was shaking really bad. The tears came ofcourse for me, and Kailee and Brian took him to the vet. It was very upsetting, Levi, came to be our baby 1 month before Kailee was born, they have grown up together! So, the vet put him on some pretty strong antibiotics and some other medicine and he thinks that we caught it in time to save him, so we are praying really hard that he makes it through!!

Thursday night, Kailee had another ball game, and I could not believe how chilly it was!! I really was cold!! They won!! Yeah, and Kailee got a hit every time!!! Very exciting. She plays a really good catcher, but in the field, she is easily distracted :) !!

So, now here we are and it is FRIDAY!! YEAH! The weekend is here! Kailee has another game tonight! Hopefully all the girls will be able to "KEEP THEIR HEADS IN THE GAME"! Then tomorrow is our Anniversary!! Yeah us! and Kolin got selected to ride (his horse) at an important fundraiser event tomorrow night! So that should be fun! and I think Sunday will be all about doing laundry and cleaning the house. After church ofcourse!!

Long Time no BLOG!!!!

Can you believe that it has been so long since my last blog!!!! What have I been doing? Well, first I finished the school year out, with a big WHOO WHO!! Then that weekend we had Kailee's dance recital so, Friday night was dress rehearsal and Sunday was 2 shows! It was a lot of fun and everyone enjoyed watching her dance!

Then ball games started for Kailee and Kolin. The first one was a double header; Kolin at 6 and Kailee at 8, on the same field, but boy did that make for a long night!! Kolin really only likes to hit the ball and run the bases, although he always runs to the pitchers mound first, not sure why, but I chase him down and then we run the bases. It is a lot of fun!! Kailee is the catcher this year, and she really loves it! Although I believe she will probably get hit at some point or another because she tries to catch the ball before it gets past the batter.

Kailee also got her first pair of pointe shoes! She is so excited!!! The place that we went was awesome with the fitting! They really took the time to fit her correctly! So, she will begin Pointe this summer! Actually classes start this week again! So back to dance we shall go!
Another exciting thing that took place was the forever waiting letter of team placements for the 2010 Dance Team. Kailee will be continuing in the Musical Theater Production, adding a Tap Group, and starting a New Solo. She is very excited!
The boys have been very busy! Busy breaking everything! I don't know how they can destroy so much stuff all the time!! I only had a week off school, and I swear all I did was clean up after them!! That's ok! I love them to pieces! I think that Karter might want to play soccer this fall, so we will see!
Kolin started back at horseback riding, and he is riding Jamieson. They are working with him on vaulting and steering! He really loves riding his horse.
This past weekend we went to MUDFEST! We really had a good time, well most of us did. Kolin thought that it was too loud, so I met Grandma and she took him home. Thanks Grandma! Karter and Kailee really enjoyed themselves, and even Mom drove through some pretty big MUD holes! Yeah Mommie!
Oh and Congrats to my parents!! They celebrated their 40th Wedding Anniversary yesterday! That is quite an accomplishment! Brian and I will celebrate another year this saturday, not sure what we will do yet, but we will celebrate!!
