Check Out My Graduate!!!!

Kolin GRADUATED from Kindergarten Tuesday evening! It was so wonderful! He sang and danced and then hid his face, but it really was wonderful! He was the first name called by his wonderful teacher, Mrs. Denbow! We are so proud of him! He has learned so much this year. He can write his first and last name, numbers to 10 (in order :) ), count to 20 (sometimes skips 13, not sure why), knows all his colors and can even read some site words!! WOW, he truly amazes me!!! I am so PROUD of him!! Not to mention that his big sister was proud of him also! After a weird trip to DQ for ice cream to celebrate, he went home and he totally crashed! Check him out!

What a Wonderful Weekend!!!!

Could you have asked for better weather? Probably not!! The weather here was so wonderful that you could not help yourself from smiling and playing outside!! Saturday started as normal, horseback riding at 9 am, then MT practice at 10 am. Kailee was asked to go to a "spring play" at 6:30, so the kids and I went home and rested. Then I got the "brainy" idea that since we had to take Kailee back into town, then we should (Brian and I) catch a movie. We never go anywhere without the kiddos, unless it is dance related, and then we still have one with us. So this was a treat. I really wanted to see "Angels and Demons". I had read the book and really enjoyed it, so I wanted to see how they would protray it in a movie. I have to say that it was pretty good. I also must admit that I really enjoyed the butter covered popcorn! It was wonderful! My wonderful mother watched the boys for us, and we dropped and picked Kailee up. We got home past my bedtime, and I paid for it on Sunday.

Kolin was in a Horse Show on Sunday. He rode in the Lead Line Class. He got 5th Place and was very happy with his ribbon! He was not so happy about not being able to stay on the horse the entire day! Kailee was then asked to go see the "Hannah Montana" movie with a friend, so she went there, daddy took Kolin home, and Karter and I went grocery shopping (while we waited for Kailee). Check out these pics of Kolin on Jamison at the horse show.

Then we all sat down together and watched "Night at the Museum". This is probably Kolin's all time FAVORITE movie!! He can not wait to see the new that comes out this week!! It is so fun to watch him, he can act the entire movie out! I now know where he gets his "tushy shaking " from!! :)
This is a very exciting and eventful week! Kolin will graduate from Kindergarten and Karter will celebrate the end of the Pre-school year!! Kailee only has a few more classes before recital and Summer is just around the corner!!! I can't wait!!

Happy Mother's Day, a few days late!

I hope that everyone has had a Great Mother's Day! I was blessed to spend it with our 3 children and our "other" child. Kailee planned a great evening on Saturday for me. I made dinner (mini burgers, yum), while Kailee set up the back porch for us! Don't look at all the stuff on the back porch, I am finally going to get my railings put up sometime ! :) Anyway, my wonderful mom took Kailee and Kolin to the store to pick out something for me for Mother's Day. Kailee decided that we would have a picnic in the backyard! It was perfect. The weather was wonderful. She put huge candles in the ground (supposed to keep bugs away), washed the table and set everything up. Kolin picked out some great glasses and a serving plate! He also picked out the cutest Mother's Day card (Happy Birthday Son, was the actual title of the Card). Kailee picked out a card that was perfect also, and very special. We had a great picnic on the back porch and watched the sun set. On Sunday, we went to church, and then went out to eat. It was a great weekend!! Check out the pictures:

Wacky Wednesday!!!

So Wednesdays around our house are crazy! They used to be my favorite day because we didn't have dance, horseback riding, nothing and I love to watch Criminal Minds. But now, I am extremely thankful for DVR, so that I can still keep up with the show. NOW, Wednesdays are full of BASEBALL/SOFTBALL!

Kolin has practice first and he is playing tee-ball!! I was so amazed at him last night! He can really hit the ball, and not off the tee, but when it is pitched to him!! We tried to play ball 2 years ago, but he was more interested in filling the coaches' shoes full of dirt and sand! This year is a whole new year! He participates in practice, listens to the coaches, and is really trying his best!! I am so amazed! He seems to really love playing baseball! The coaches are so impressed with him!! It is such a difference from the first time we tried to play! It is a joy to watch him enjoy the team sport so much!! Here are a few picof him from last nights practice

Then off to Kailee's practice! Kailee is playing softball, and I am trying to help coach! That is very interesting! I group of tween girls, some that live for softball, and some that just play it for fun! It is quite a combination! We work on actually fielding the ball, getting along, hitting the ball, remembering to throw the ball, getting along, making good throws, getting along, running the bases, and next week we are going to throw in trying to actually pitch the ball and getting along! Did I mention getting along? Yeah, it seems that the girls that go to school together don't like outsiders, and my daughter is an outsider, as is a few other girls. So we are really trying to build teamwork! Last night was a good practice! Let's all pray that next week will be even better, because we only have a few more practices before games begin!
